I love to draw strange and surreal artwork. My inspiration comes from my own intense personal fears and inhibitions, which are represented vicariously through mysterious genderless characters. These, I feel come from my childhood fear of animal suited people, due to being made to watch the 1976 film ‘Beatrix potters ballet’ at a young age by my parents….

I work in fine detail with pen, ink and acrylic on paper, or large scale with posca pens and paint on walls.

I am very influenced by the surrealist art scene, and I am inspired by Kris Kuksi, James Jean, Laurie Lipton and many more.

Working usually from a windowless art studio in Bristol I create work for gallery shows and illustrative projects globally and am on a constant mission to better my own work and figure out more of what is going on inside my brain....
