Public Art Installations can be some of the most complex projects we’re involved in, with multiple stakeholders, public safety and creative processes we can bridge the gap between the commissioning party and the artist. Our technical team will not only work within the public considerations but also support the artist in bringing their vision to reality whether 2D, 3D or multiple sensory.

Aardman Robin Robin Mural Trail with Alex Lucas

Netflix, Aardman and Upfest have partnered to bring a very special Christmas mural trail to the streets of Bristol, to celebrate the launch of Aardman’s new animated short Robin Robin. The amazing Alex Lucas created her interpretation of the film’s characters.

Fishponds Library Owl

Bristol libraries commissoned Upfest to create a public art installation to enhance the visibility of Fishponds Library. The owl was chosen as a symbol of knowledge.

Follow Your Heart

Our third #BristolTogether project. We painted hundreds of hearts to form 6 trails across the city finishing in a centre piece at Cabot Circus to promote economic recovery within Bristol and the safe reopening of our city.

Bristol Balloon Fiesta

Following the success of the #BristolTogether campaign in Bristol city centre we collaborated with We Are Plaster, Bristol Bid and Bristol Balloon Fiesta this time and painted a whopping 128m wide heart for the Balloon Fiesta.

Bristol Hearts

In collaboration with We Are Plaster, Bristol Bid and Visit Bristol we painted giant hearts across 3 sites in Bristol city centre for the #BristolTogether campaign.

Bristol Old Vic

As part of the Bristol Old Vic's refurbishment we worked closely with their creative team to produce a shortlist of Bristol artists whose brief was to design a mural to show the history of King Street.

National Marine Aquarium Plymouth

To conincide with World Ocean Day Upfest were commissioned to create a new mural on the side of National Marine Aquarium, Plymouth

Hoardings

Working with contractors and developers we can provide artists to brighten up the hoardings accross the country.

Croome National Trust

The Upfest's production team have been working with the National Trust at Croome Court, where the team managed the production of the 50 metre long artwork painted onto the scaffold wrapped building.

Colston Hall

To celebrate the 150 year anniversary of the Colston Hall Upfest were commissioned to paint the Colston Hall legends on the foyer windows, along with additional floor quotes.

SWX

Upfest were commissioned to do some perspective murals inside SWX nightclub alongside some 3d installation pieces

Subway

Thanks to Arts Council England, we received funding in 2012 through the Grants for the Arts scheme, the money we received was fully utilised in building a full size replica New York Subway carriage by our own production crew for the festival.

Bugs of Bedminster

The beautiful bugs of Bedminster brought together street artists, illustrators and local primary school children to create a sculpture trail like no other.

Cabot Circus

To celebrate 10 years of Cabot Circus we were commissioned to install vinyl optical illusions around the shopping centre along with two days of live art installations.

Box E

Box- E approached us for help to make their upstairs restaurant at Cargo more visible to the public by adding their logo to the stairwell up to the restaurant.

East Street pocket park

Upfest were commisisoned through the Bedminster Improvement District to create some floor artwork for a pocket park on East St.
