Celebrating 650 years of the City of Bristol Upfest did three activations across the city including a "renaissance style" paint jam, a mural by Bristol favourite Inkie and a giant interactive hop scotch on College Green.
Painting classic styles with a modern twist using brushes only, the Clifton Triangle was transformed with incredible artworks created by local Bristol artists during the 650 paint jam. Drawing inspiration from all things Bristol the artists transformed empty shopfront windows on Bristol's well known Clifton Triangle and made it into a destination to check out the work.
Artists included were Aspire, Andrew Burns Colwill, Cheba, Georgie Webster, Inkie, Jody, Martin D'Arcy, Rose Popay, Tozer, Will Cross
College Green, in front of Bristol City Council Building and next to Bristol Cathedral, saw a giant 500m long hop scotch being installed by the Upfest crew. The hop scotch, done in the shape of the numbers 650, was a playful installation for people to interact with.
