Netflix, Aardman Robin Robin Mural trail Bristol

Netflix, Aardman and Upfest have partnered to bring a very special Christmas mural trail to the streets of Bedminster, to celebrate the launch of Aardman’s new animated short Robin Robin available on Netflix from the 24th of November.

Handmade at Aardman’s studios in central Bristol, Robin Robin is created using needle-felting techniques by their award-winning teams alongside directors Dan Ojari and Mikey Please.

It’s been important to us to acknowledge the local craft and creative community within Bristol so what is more fitting to the city than a mural trail. Dan and Mikey hand selected the amazingly talented Alex Lucas aka Lucas Antics as the number one artist on their wishlist to create her interpretation of the film’s characters.

Over the past few weeks Alex has been beavering away painting her handmade versions of characters from Robin Robin for visitors to hunt out. The trail which can be started at either end of Bedminster leads to a final large mural situated next to George Carr Power Products on North Street, how many can you find??
