Pre-Order 5 Years Of Upfest

To celebrate 5 years (to the day) of Upfest, photographer Paul Green and Kineta Hill, teamed up with street artist Jody Thomas to create this fantastic visual history of Upfest from 2008-2012.

The large format book (260mm x 260mm) contains 144 pages packed with images from all the festivals. From the beginning, Upfest has always had an international flavour and scores of artists from around the world have joined Bristol writers to create a truly diverse range of street art and graffiti. The book features the work of more th an 100 artists from around the globe as well as a history of Upfest.

Since the first festival photographer Paul Greeen has had unrivalled access to the artists and his pictures take you behind the scenes as well as capturing the finished artwork. The book is designed by Jody, one of the original Bristol writers and a product of John Nation's Barton Hill youth club in the 1980s.

In addition to the book launch we will be hosting an exhibition of work from the 50 original artists who painted at the first ever festival. Book cover image Epok & SmugOne (Upfest 2012)
