Sokar Uno

Sokar UnoUpfest will host the first UK Solo Exhibition from Sokar Uno for two weeks from Saturday 12th October. Discover and explore the world of Sokar Uno and whisk yourself away to the childhood dream.

German artist Sokar Uno has made his name with visitors to Upfest Urban Paint Festival, creating distinctive fairytale shutters on North Street in Bedminster. Hailing from Berlin this young artist has been painting and illustrating since the age of 12, with a passion for portraits with a touch of mystique.

‘Childhood Dreams’ will be an exhibition of coltish illustrations with realistic yet distorted images, soft lines or hard contours, creating enormously expressive and powerful characters. They vary from sketches with pencil and coffee to art prints of figural graffiti on different undergrounds.

Launch Night - Friday 11th of October, 6.30pm - 9.30pm

Exhibition Runs from Saturday 12th October until Sunday 27th October

The Upfest Gallery, 198 North Street, Bristol, BS3 1JF
